In brief, it enforces classic formal dress (tuxedo/dinner jacket, dress shirt) all in black. Exceptions are made for those who like to cross dress but, again, it is all about stylish evening wear rather than outrageous pink frills. The important thing is to not outshine the dominant ladies.

There are also strict rules of etiquette for males to follow.  All males must be hooded for at least the first hour, all males must be silent unless given permission to speak, no male may sit on the furniture and you must bow or curtsy to all females. This is very high protocol. However, there will also be many opportunities for play during the evening and this promised to be a fun event for all involved.
